Students are required to take the 15 hour Learn to Massage Your Dog class as a pre-requisite before committing to the 100 Canine Massage Therapy Certification training.

Depending on if you take the certification training all back to back over the course of 2 weeks, plus the internship, you may complete the training in as few as 2-3 months.   If you take the training one weekend per month for three months, it may take 6-12 months to complete the entire certification.  Every situation is different with how quickly the students complete the entire training.

Onsite Lodging Rates
$75/night – king sized bed, private room, private bath, + light housekeeping duties*
– $40/night – full sized bed, lower bunk, shared room, shared bath, + light housekeeping duties*
– $20/night – twin sized bed, upper bunk, shared room, shared bath, + light housekeeping duties*

* light housekeeping duties include: take out trash & recycling at end of every day, wash dishes, fill Keurig, vacuum daily, dust if necessary, replace towels in bathrooms and kitchen with fresh ones, replace/wash bedding on massage tables if necessary, replenish paper products in toilets and kitchen.

How much is the airport transportation?
$50 each way from TPA/PIE/RSW airports
$10 each way from SRQ airport

Classes are held throughout the year in Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and any state that invites us to teach our trainings. We even had a class in Scotland in May 2017!

Most classes run from 9am-6pm however, please double-check the individual class you signed up for to confirm the starting and ending times.

No, you don’t.  The Canine Massage Therapy Certification is open to the general public, as well as licensed massage therapists, vet techs, and even veterinarians! If students want to take the National Certification Exam for Animal Massage, they are required to take 200 hours of canine massage therapy education for non-massage therapists or 150 hours of education for those with formal massage therapy training.
The costs for the 100 hour Certification training are broken down as follows:
$225 (early registration)/$250 Learn to Massage Your Dog (pre-requisite)
$1,200 (early registration) / $1275 Level 1 (includes Modules 1-4)
$50-200 required books
Plus, transportation, if you don’t live in Florida, housing, which we can help find very reasonable accommodations, meals, and any supplies you decide you need.
We accept credit or debit cards, personal checks, money orders, or even accept payment plans for most trainings.  Please contact us to set up a payment plan before signing up for a class.
